Reality bytes: When virtual relationships and real life collide

I’ve been watching myself and my Second Life friends do relationships. It’s real and complex. Here’s an article about a teen who lost a friend, one with whom she had never shared physical space, but was nevertheless very attached to. The descriptor “virtual” might be losing it credibility, afterall what’s un- virtual about telephones and email?
