* This University of Idaho Video Introduction to virtual worlds is an excellent introduction to this new medium.
* Getting Started in Second Life - This video and slide show tutorial walks you through getting started. Produced by Harvard’s Extension School, for a distance education course, this 17 minute tutorial provides step by step guidance.
* How-to tutorials provided by CTER - These step-by-step tutorials are great for beginners. Learn how to build a chair, create an interactive sign, add texture to an object, add a note card onto an object, link and object to a webpage, create links within an notecard, create a dropbox, create a teleport link and script floating text.
* More How to Video Tutorials - These move a little more quickly, but that’s the beauty of video–you can start and stop it. You can learn how to use gestures, manage your inventory, use HUDS, change your appearance, open and sell boxes, use the building grid, fill in your profile, use undo, make a flag wave in the wind, make tiny prims and other assorted tricks.
